Behind the scenes (BTS)Photography for Lucid — a groundbreaking Flying Screen and G-Munk collaboration blending drone technology, choreography, and immersive light.

“Commissioned by Flying Screen director Dave Green, I documented Lucid, a joint project with renowned artist Bradley Munkovitz (aka G-Munk) and his creative team. Filmed five stories underground in London’s historic Collins Music Hall, the production combined four custom-built screen drones with LED lighting, strobes, and a tightly choreographed performance set to Bicep’s track Glue. My role was to capture both the scale of the technical innovation and the artistry of the performance — from the precision of the drone choreography to the intensity of the lighting design and the expressive power of dancer Zakiya. The imagery highlights the convergence of experimental technology and human movement, showcasing an ambitious production that pushed creative and technical boundaries.”

Photography for contemporary dance in theater — capturing motion, emotion, and the living dialogue between body, light, and space.

Photographing contemporary dance in a theatrical setting is an act of translating movement into stillness without losing its energy. Emerging from the lineage of Tanztheater — where dance meets spoken word, gesture, costume, and light — these performances often blur the line between narrative and abstraction. My role as photographer is to preserve those transient moments where emotion, rhythm, and atmosphere converge, revealing the stories hidden in motion. The interplay of dancers with stage design and lighting creates shifting canvases that I capture instinctively, documenting what would otherwise vanish the instant it is performed. Each image becomes a tangible echo of performance, inviting viewers to imagine the unseen gestures that came before and after the frame.

Photography for Eric Prydz’s EPIC 6.0 HOLOSPHERE — documenting the creation of a groundbreaking 3D LED sphere ahead of its Tomorrowland debut.

“Commissioned to capture the making of Eric Prydz’s EPIC 6.0 HOLOSPHERE, I documented three days of rehearsals and build-up in a London hangar before its world premiere at Tomorrowland 2019. The production featured an eight-metre-high transparent LED sphere — a first-of-its-kind stage design that combined holographic imagery, advanced lighting systems, and daring engineering. My photography focused on the behind-the-scenes process, the technical rigging, the precision of the creative team, and the scale of the sphere itself. The images reveal the intensity and ambition of a project that pushed the boundaries of live performance design, laying the foundation for today’s HOLOSPHERE 2.0 now staged weekly at UNVRS Ibiza (Summer 2025).”

Behind-the-scenes and concert photography for Eric Prydz’s previous shows: EPIC 5.0 and Creamfields HOLO — capturing the evolution of a groundbreaking live experience.

Before the arrival of the EPIC 6.0 Holosphere, I had the privilege of documenting Eric Prydz’s EPIC 5.0 and Creamfields HOLO — landmark shows that redefined production design in electronic music. I covered the London show in particular, where Prydz’s team once again set new standards with their visionary approach to stage technology and visual storytelling. Photographing these performances was both exciting and demanding: from navigating complex lighting and vast stage structures to working discreetly around a fast-paced build. My images captured the atmosphere of the show as well as the behind-the-scenes preparation, and were published worldwide, helping to promote Prydz’s trailblazing work to a global audience.

Tour photography for Biffy Clyro’s Opposites UK Arena Tour — capturing iconic live moments for Warner Music and the band’s 2013 official tour book

Commissioned by Jennifer Ivory, Head of Marketing at Warner Music, I was brought onto Biffy Clyro’s Opposites UK Arena Tour after being highly recommended when she saw one of my photos displayed in Pendulum’s manager’s office. The brief was ambitious: deliver the iconic full-band on-stage shot, intimate close-ups, and high-impact live imagery — all on the very first night of the tour, rather than across multiple dates as is normally done. I photographed the entire show under tight time pressure and was asked post-gig to deliver selects immediately for social media. Everything was delivered on time, and the images were later published in the official 2013 Opposites Tour Book, cementing the visual identity of the tour.
