“Commissioned by Hive Media Control, I documented their collaboration with Creative Technology and Frameless, an ambitious cultural attraction where digital art and cutting-edge projection transform masterpieces into immersive environments. What began as a behind the scenes photography commission quickly expanded into directing and filming a full series of interviews and gallery footage. With a help of a small team I captured conversations with key figures including Frameless’ Chief Technology Officer, Panasonic UK’s Manager, Creative Technology’s Head of Integration, and Hive Media’s Technical Director. Filming the galleries with a mix of steadycam/gimbal and hand held shots, the interviews were then carefully staged to reflect the scale and creativity of the project itself. This blend of still and moving imagery not only highlighted the technical achievement but also revealed the technical challenges for the making of FRAMELESS - The Ultimate Immersive Art Experience. The work was warmly received by all partners, leading to further creative commissions and a lasting collaboration.”
