“Capturing RES’s most ambitious project: the scale and innovation of the National Museum of Qatar.

“I was commissioned by RES to document their most ambitious project yet—delivering visual technology for the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), designed by world renowned architect Jean Nouvel. The vast scale of the museum’s galleries, with their irregular walls and monumental spaces, presented both creative and technical challenges in capturing the projection mapping in such an environment. My photography highlighted the innovation and artistry of RES’s work, and was later adopted by their main clients, including the National Museum of Qatar and Man Empty Joint Venture,. As Mark Calvert, RES’s Project Manager & Director, described: ‘This is the biggest project RES has ever undertaken… It took all of the skills, experience and technical wizardry we possess to make it happen. We are very grateful for their expertise, passion and dedication.’

Being part of such a landmark cultural project was both challenging and inspiring, and a privilege to document through my lens.”
