Photography and videography for London’s Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition — technical case study commissioned by Hive Media Control Ltd

For Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition at ExCeL London, I was commissioned by Hive Media to deliver photography and videography, with final approval from Painting With Light (PWL).  The project unfolded over two demanding days. The first, during installation, required me to capture behind-the-scenes imagery while the technical team worked under intense pressure just days before opening. Patience, discretion, and careful observation — skills I’ve honed through years of experience — were essential to respecting the team’s workflow while documenting key moments. The second day, during the public opening, demanded a different sensitivity: filming without intrusion, moving quietly among visitors to create steady, considered shots that captured the atmosphere and pivotal moments for the final edit. Working with Hive Media Control continues to challenge me across both photography and videography, often to deliver under complex conditions.
